We are the International Casting Directors Network (operating as ICDN E.V.), an association registered in Germany with registration number VR 37441 B and registered office at Saarbrücker Str 24, 10405 Berlin, Germany (ICDN).
This Privacy Notice sets out how we will process your personal data when you use this website and/or become a member of ICDN or referee for a prospective member of ICDN.
Personal data is information about individuals or information from which individuals can be identified (personal data).
How do we collect personal data?
We collect personal data directly from you when you provide it to us in the process of registering as a prospective member. We also collect your personal data through Spotlight and payment services providers (such as ClubCollect). We may also collect your personal data through other individuals, for example, through individuals who are members of ICDN and may share your information on their profile, for example, in descriptions of their work and their collaborations.

We may also process your personal data (a) to comply with a legal obligation we are under (Art. 6 sec. 1 lit. c GDPR).; and (b) for additional purposes in the future, but only if such purposes are compatible with those listed above and if we believe that the same lawful basis applies.
When do we disclose your personal data?
We may disclose your personal data to other parties. Such parties may include companies that process data in and/or are incorporated in territories outside of the EEA and which do not provide the same level of protection to personal data as countries subject to the GDPR (international processors).
Third party processors we may share your personal data with include 123 Reg, WordPress and WebToffee.
When we transfer personal data to processors within the EU, we do so on the basis of Article 28, General Data Protection Regulation ((EU) 2016/679) (GDPR) compliant terms.

Information you share on our website’s news page or forums may be shared with other members and/or on our social media accounts for the purposes and the legitimate interests of facilitating our operations and promoting our offerings, for example on Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, and LinkedIn.

We may share your personal data with and receive personal data from ClubCollect, our payment service and communications platform provider, and SurveyMonkey, our surveys provider.

If you unsubscribe from our marketing communications, we will maintain a record of your unsubscribe request and associate it with your email address to ensure you do not receive future communications.

We would love to stay in touch with you, but we completely understand if you do not want to receive communications from us via email. You are able to select your choices for communication when you sign up to our mailing list or register with us. Additionally, we always offer an unsubscribe option at the bottom of every email you receive from us and you are welcome to use it to change your email preferences.

Access: You are entitled to confirmation that we process your personal data and a copy of such personal data.
Rectification: If the personal data we hold on you is incorrect, you have the right for this to be rectified. You may also update your personal data through your account settings.
Erasure: You can request us to erase your personal data where there is no compelling reason to continue processing.
Restriction: You may request a restriction on the processing we undertake on your personal data. This will only apply where we have no lawful basis to process your personal data, your personal data is inaccurate or to comply with an objection request (see below).
Objection: You may object to our processing of your personal data if our processing is carried out on the basis of legitimate interests. Please note, however, that should we determine that our interests are so compelling as to override your objection we may continue to process your personal data.
You may object to receiving direct marketing at any time.
